Understanding the Importance of Instagram Marketing

Hi guys, welcome back to my channel. My name is Jade. I'm here to help you grow your online presence, multiply your streams of income, and create profitable businesses. Today's video is all about Instagram marketing, a personal favorite of mine. I have such a soft spot for Instagram marketing. If you've followed me for a while, then you will know that.

Developing a Marketing Strategy

In this video, I'm going to be breaking down the main element of an Instagram marketing strategy so that you can go away and set up or just check your own to make sure that you've got everything that you need and that you're good to go. So if you have a business, whether it's a product-based business, a service-based business, whatever it is, if you're trying to market something using Instagram, then stick with me because this video is going to be of huge use to you. Let's get to it.

Gaining Knowledge Through Education

You might be thinking, how does Jade know how to create an Instagram marketing strategy? Like, where do people who teach this stuff get this information from? Well, I can only speak for myself, but I got all of my information and everything I know about marketing and strategy from my degree. So, in case you didn't know, I studied marketing and design and communications back in the UK. I said back - I'm still in the UK.

Exploring Course Offerings at Southern New Hampshire University

So, even if you're listening to this and thinking, well, I do want to study, I want to look into potentially doing an online degree or online course, but you're unsure of what the course is that you want to focus on, maybe you don't want to focus on marketing, maybe you want to do something else, well, they have one of the largest online degree offerings. So, I think it's safe to say that whatever route you're considering going down, SNHU probably has a degree or a relevant course for you to look into. They have over 200 degree programs which are all dedicated to helping you either advance a career that you're already in or kickstart a career that you want to get into.

Understanding Your Audience for Effective Marketing

Of course, I'm going to leave a link in the description. Let's talk about your audience now. If you've ever enrolled in any of my programs like my Instagram marketing course or my Creators Club or anything, you'll be holding your eyes right now because this is, in my opinion, the most important part of your strategy, and it's the part that I focus on the most and really hammer home the most when it comes to me helping anyone with their Instagram marketing strategy.

Setting Objectives and Key Performance Indicators

So, your objectives are basically your goals. It's important that you iron out specifically what your objectives are before you start posting content or anything like that for this new strategy because objectives allow you to have a very clear idea of what it is you are trying to achieve, right? So, it's important that with your objectives, you make sure that they're SMART.

Crafting a Content Strategy

The final thing to think about when it comes to your content strategy is your posting frequency. So, I do not believe in posting multiple times a day. I know some people will tell you to do that, and you know they're telling you to do that because it's worked for them. In my experience, the only people I've ever come across who have experienced success with posting multiple times per day are people who have very, very, very big accounts, right?

Evaluating and Analyzing Your Strategy

Now, I do not believe in spending a lot of time in your analytics. I'm actually a big fan of posting and ghosting, which basically just means that I will post something and then I will leave it alone. I will never delete it, I will leave it alone. I won't refresh to see how many plays my Reel gets. Like, I'm just going to leave it, and then the next day I'm going to go back and engage with it.
